Dan Lane

Dan Lane is a Managing Director at Cottonwood, overseeing the Firm’s investments in the Midwest Region of the U.S. Mr. Lane joined Cottonwood in 2022. Prior to Joining Cottonwood, Mr. Lane held leadership roles in agriculture and commercial real estate finance at MetLife Investment Management and started his career as a managing broker and certified appraiser with a real estate brokerage, appraisal, and investment company. He was raised on his family’s farming operation in Central Illinois and holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a M.S. in Real Estate from Cornell University. He is based in Rushville, IL.
